Keep couples from drawing each other and avoid last year’s matches. Free, with no sign-up.
Open Rules in the Secret Santa tab and add one rule per line:
Couples or housemates: write Alex & Jordan. Neither will draw the other.
One-way rule: write Sam > Taylor. Sam can’t draw Taylor, but Taylor can still draw Sam.
Avoid last year’s matches: keep “Remember this draw” ticked. Next time you open the site on the same device, tick the box to avoid the matches from your last draw.
Spell names exactly as they appear in your list. If a name in a rule isn’t on the list, the tool tells you which one.
Why does it say no valid draw was found?
Too many rules for the group size can make a valid draw impossible, especially in a small group. Remove a rule or add more people.
Do I need to sign up or enter emails?
No. Your names stay on your own device.
Can I still use gift hints and a budget?
Yes. Type “Name: hint” in the list, and add a budget or date in the note box.
How many people do I need?
At least 3 to draw. With exclusions, more is better.
